A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Filing Jim Arnold's shoes is a task that I am willing to take on only because I will be counting on each and everyone of you for your cooperation and input. With your help we can take this organization on to the next level. It will take all of us. With the Legislators meeting every year now we will all be called to Little Rock to lobby or to testify about our Legislative Packet and other Legislation that effects our office.

Our association is here to stimulate professional development; promote unity and assistance among our members; and to advocate an exchange of ideas and information.

If you have not already done so, make your reservations and plan on being at our next Continuing Education Seminar. There is always something to learn and to share. Getting to know other members of our Association helps you run your office much smoother when you have question. Please refer to our website regularly for updates and information about seminars and topics regarding County Treasurer's: treasurers.apprenticeis.com. The list-Serv through University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) is a wonderful reference when you need a quick answer.

We have a lot of challenges ahead of us. If I can help you in any way please contact me. I would like to see ACTA work as a starting place to address any issues you may have.
